Oh I just learned how to make screencaps of Yami no Matsuei and Gravitation. Lookie!
The Yamis are only from the first 3 eps since I don't really like any particular scenes in 4 or 5. And they also mainly focus on Tsuzuki or Muraki and some occassional Hisoka. None of any of the others yet. The Gravis are from eps 1,2, and 9. I haven't messed with my other real player ones yet since the quality is not too good. I tried to only use the avi files that showed up on my Windows Media Player. Yes, my caps are sad I know. But I don't want to make a fancy separate page for them and I just felt I had to put them somewhere since I saved them. Maybe I'll make better ones later once I learn how to work my screencap creator.

 
I really need to change my blog to fit my newest obssession. Found perfect piccy for the layout just the other day. It's soo very wrong but that's what makes it so fun! Pretty bishonen and those ever-present dangerous strings. Muraki and Tsuzuki is the most twisted pairing I've ever enjoyed but I find it way more interesting than the traditional Hisoka & Tsuzuki, which I enjoy as well, just not as much. First Mikage and now Muraki. Hmm Nayami might be developing a dark streak after all. ;)
(And yes, I love talking about myself in third person.)

 
Okay I don't know what's up with my teachers but there's definitely something up with them. My Journalism teacher likes to sport pink shirts and is absolutely hilarous. And my math teacher is really really gay. Throw in my Mythology teacher who's a real eccentric lady, obviously she made us buy 8 books for her class, and I've got quite a lot to look forward to this semester.

 
Aww my little squirrel found a new friend today. He's only slightly larger than Subaru-kun but his tail is completely messed up and sort of makes an unusual v-like shape. They were playing with this pronged stick today and holding it up with their widdle paws and hiding behind it. It was so adorable. They're almost as cute as my Louis. Now I need to think of a name for my squirrel's new buddy. :)

 
Wow I got Muraki on my personality test. Well, he is my favorite character but the whole thing still disturbs me.

 
Yeah, I found a new pet today! Now I don't have to be all petless during my stay at college. It's this adorable all black squirrel with brownish-green eyes. He's practically the smallest squirrel on campus and he's definitely the skinniest. Everybody's always feeding all the squirrels but this little guy refuses to eat anything. It's not like he's sick or anything because he's so full of uber-high energy. But he just doesn't like to eat all the special food people give him. But he's so friendly. He always runs over to people and stands on his hind legs to get a better loook at him. Of course whenever poeple try to touch him, he gets all shy and backs up a bit. He's soo cute! And he's so very curious of everything around him, crawling right up to people and staring at them with his big shiny eyes. Maybe later I'll snap a pic of him and scan it. He reminds me a bit of Subaru from Tokyo Babylon before the whole Sei-chan reveals his true self thang. It think that's what I'll call my new squirrel pet. Subaru-kun! *Nayami obviously misses having pet too much already*

 
Oh my God, look what I just read. Clamp actually passed up on a chance to kill Sorata. It's a fucking miracle! And all the touchy Sora/Arashi moments. Sora-chan can be soo cute when he's wooing his maiden. Oh maybe my hopes for them can finally rise a bit. Don't get me wrong, I love the shonen ai pairings but Sorata is my favorite character and I believe I can be all genki knowing he's not dead. At the very least, it should provide me with a few new fics for my page.
In the meantime, looking at these, I must say the X cast is looking more disturbing than usual. But hey at least it's actually mentioning the under-appreciated Kakyou and the jubilant Hokuto. It might actually be something worthy of bearing X's name.

 
Where the hell is the Gravi and Yami manga I ordered about three weeks ago? I need new manga right now! It's the only thing that can possibly keep me sane.

 
Damn! My Greek and Roman Mythology course requires that I buy 7 new books in addition to the other two I need for each of my Math, Sociology, and Spanish classes. To make matters worse, I've got no credit card so I have to pay for these books in my own cash! I hate money!

 
Oh yeah, I forgot the really bizarre thing I discovered about my father the other day. While we were listening to one of his old country songs about a young boy who ended up sleeping with a much older women, I informed my dad that the concept was pretty twisted. He didn't seem to surprised by the notion and admitted that he had his interesting affairs when he was young as well. It appears when he was 25, he had sex with a 65 year-old lady. :o Well, at least he says they were friends.

 
Oh College Bitchin'

First I didn't decide to pack until the morning of my actual moving day. So I tried to get everything I wanted in the truck in about four hours. And I forgot my freakin jeans. I also decided to torture myself for a week by deliberately not bringing any VCR, TV, or DVD player. So the only anime I got right now is my good ole Gravi!
Icebreakers usually suck but it was actually kind of exciting to meet all the new people who seem to be kind of interesting. It was kind of freaky how they had all the upper classmen make the freshmen run a sort of gauntlet where they clapped and made strange noices. Kind of cultish! ^^ But I did meet some new friends. One kid Martin is totally hilarious and wants to be a Broadway star. He also wants to torture himself by enrolling in a Lacrosse eteam. Another is Erin who idolizes Impressionist art and wants to devote her life to perfecting her own style of it.
Of course, getting on the net was beyond impossible and took me a good eight hours to master it. But all who see my computer keep asking why I'm obsessed with "cartoons." Figures. The cute sound effects it makes doesn't help either. Try explaining the purpose of Kenshin's "oro" whinning to those not familiar with anime.
Best thing is I got one of the best residence halls with all the Scholars and all. Though I swear if they wake me up in the morning for their ridiculous Service Day, I'll crack! Still, I hate having to share. Now I'll have to introduce my roomate to anime.

 
Yeah I get to install my Ethernet connection so my computer will actually be able to access the internet at a decent speed.

 
Aw Crap! I screwed up my html and now the rest of my ranting got cut off. Oh well, I'll just continue with my last sentence from the last post.

In case a certain someone wants to know, yes the writing was total shonen ai. But no hentai yet! And yes I know I'm such a spaz with that sort of thing. Ooh and mental note to self, reading Poppy Z Brite before or in the middle of writing is not a good idea.

 
Damn, who would have thought that a playlist made up of only Christian Kane 's "Damn Those Eyes, Gackt's "Lapis", and Gravitiation's "Anti-Nostalgic" would make great background music for independent creative writing. I usually get my best inspiration for writing when I'm listening to music that suits the scene's mood. Anyone thanks to the tracks, I started at 9 and didn't finish until 1. The crazy thing was that I was actually satisfied with the first draft. This sort of thing only happens once in a blue moon. I am never satified with any first draft I write. I usually have to correct the darn thing 5 times before I can live with it. And in case a certain "That's right, puppy. Mommy's gonna make you bark."

 
Stupid me erased my CD of Gravi episodes while I was uploading my newly acquired episodes. Luckily I always have backups. Now only if it hadn't erased the one that took me 7 hours to download, the only one I didn't back up because it was too huge for my suffering computer. *sigh* Speaking of which, with all the new downloads on this heap of junk, I'm sort of expecting it to crash any day now. Hopefully I can clear it before that happens.

 
Whoa am I pack rat? In the middle of sorting out my closet for stuff I'm taking with me to school, I ran across several unusual items including a telephone, an old printer, an extension cord, a modem cable, a lamp, my old issues of Animerica Extra, a bag of 3-month old Doritos, and about twenty types of nail polish. My mother was terrified and refused to help me clean anymore. She feared something was alive in my closet. The good thing about the cleaning was that now I have somewhere to put my manga/DVD shelf.

 
Now now there needn't be any violence on your part since I have been carefully saving my episodes to disk. Maybe when I'm finished getting them, I'll bring them over. One thing you forget is, I have an extremely crappy computer and takes forever to dl these things. Too bad I also got hooked on all those Dir en Grey songs as well. Now I want more! Damn it! I need more tea and it's all gone! NOOO!

For once, I'm not in the mood to bitch. (surprise surprise) I'm in the mood to gush. I found some sweet soul who actually agreed to send me some Gravi dls over IM. Thankfully, this person has up to the 8th episode. For poor deprived me, who couldn't even get any manga, this is like a godsend. Even my slow ass modem which takes more than an hour to download one episode can't bring me out of my happy high right now. Must get more eps tomarrow! Oh and must stop drinking Mom's special tea. Yippee!

 
Damn it, Celes gave me the wrong frickin link to her blog and I had to go fix it on my own. I hate doing things manually. Oh, and speaking of Celes, this is just "wack."

 
Last night, when I journeyed over to my father's house, I learned that my precious Louis must be on some serious crack. She likes to stare at the living room wall for a good half hour and then starts tearing up and down the floor for no good reason. Not only that, I could have sworn she tried to steal my father's wallet yesterday. Her cute little paw kept hesistantly reaching toward his pocket and before he noticed she managed to pull the wallet halfway out. I think my poor kitty is picking up some pointers from my sister. She never did anything like this when she stayed with me. Her only major issue was her obsession with the sound of keyboard typing. Oh well, at least the running around like a freak is causing her to lose some weight.

 
God! The colors on my homepage suck ass and I can't the damn things to change. It's probably going to take me another three days just to fix them. At this rate, my page will never be finished before I leave for college. What I wouldn't do for some new anime! Unfortunately, due to my Otakon fiasco, I probably won't get any until the end of September when I'll be too loaded with schoolwork to enjoy it. Damn Baltimore! Next time I go to the friggin city, I'm seriously going to shout out the car window about how much the city sucks.

 
Today's bitch topic: Bank Tellers are MORONS!

Ahem, the story starts with me and my father leaving at about 1:30 yesterday to close my joint account at the local bank so that I can open up my own private account. First, the bank teller dispensing the money refuses to give me my balance (Bitch), then she forgets to give me my money because she's too stupid to read the "less cash received" part. When I finally do get my money, my father is all impatient about leaving so we can withdraw my college money from another bank which closes at 3:00. By now, it's 1:50 and me, being the overtalkative spaz that I am, casually mentions that I like to close my account. Well the conniving wretch at the counter coerces my poor Dad into closing it right now. He's all agitated about not having enough time but she swears to him that it will only take a few minutes. Famous last words.

So we go to the personel teller and she starts to get all of our information, asking us a gazillion ridiculous questions like my mother's maiden name, whether I want College checking or Basic checking, where I'm going to school (after I present her with my school ID for identification), and whether I want to join their pointless First Value program. The best part is after she gets all our information, the process taking about 15 minutes, the ditz accidently hits the wrong button and deletes it all. Why me? Anyway, she rapidly regathers our data and is all about to close my account when I mention the money I deposited earlier that day. Freaking out, she informs me empathetically that I can't close the account until my money credits. Of course, Dad goes off on her and she quickly agrees to finish the account by herself the next day. By now, it's almost 2:35 and Dad is livid! Not a pretty site, let me say.

So we bust our asses to get to the other bank before it closes. The teller there is talking on the telephone. Why am I not surprised? It's almost 2:50 and my poor father looks like he's about to go into cardiac arrest. I calmly tell the bank teller that we need to get the money today so that my college doesn't kick me out. She slowly, I mean very very slowly, gets off the phone and prepares to get our money. Seeing that we want nearly $5000 dollars in cash, she tries to convince my dad to accept a cashier's check. Honestly, I don't think the moron could count high enough to give us the money. Well, by this point, dad no longer gives a damn how he gets his money so long as it's in his hand. He agrees and she hands us the check, right after she locks her bank key in her register. Good luck explaining that one to the manager. :)

I've got such a neckache! Who would have thought that it would take almost two hours just to highlight my friggin hair? Not only that I'm afraid to look down because my younger brother is prancing around without any boxers and my sister is screaming because my mother insists on breaking all of her cigarettes. Not to mention the Beast is circling around my feet, like a hideous shark looking for something to bite. I swear I have the craziest family in the world.

 
From time to time, I run into words that just tend to stick in my mind for a long time. I don't know why but I have sort of an odd obsession with using my favorite words. This was one of those days that brought up new vocabulary and reintroduced old vocab.
Today's words were Assaholic and Psychosis. Assaholic (pronounced "ass ah hole ik") is mine and my sister's word to describe how my brother is acting when he's being a spoiled little jerk. This word can get quite a reaction from one's grandparents who currently have their eye on entering a certain someone's room without prior permission. Example graciously given by my younger sister: "God Joseph, can't you even quit being assaholic for one minute. We'll get to your presents in a second."
As for the other word Psychosis, ( in general terms) it applies to a severe mental disorder involving one's entire personality. Of course, this was my mom's new word to describe my situation after she learned of my internet purchases to the tune of a mere $220. I kind of like this word since it sounds so bizarre. Maybe I'll rename one of my writings after it since all my previous titles are so lacking in meaning.

 
Too too busy today. Try finding a way to update your webpage while trying to manage a younger brother and niece who both have their birthday on the same day. It's utter chaos! Then mix in some boring relatives who haven't seen you in two months and strange people who just must tour the entire house including your room. Finally add a conversation with a new roommate who doesn't have color tv. What's the result? Insanity! Oh well, this stuff is good for curing writer's block!

 
This is really unfair! I can't get to watch my Six Feet Under unless I let my insane brother watch his precious Samurai Jack in my room. I'm going to crack!

 
I've been waaay too depressed to post all day. Some stupid accident in Baltimore prevented my access to Otakon. I've only just recovered from it because my father happily agreed to allow me use of his credit card to buy anything I wanted off the net as long as I paid him back within a week. He felt bad for me because he knew how much I really wanted to go to Otakon. The funny thing is he wanted to know what I bought so I told him and he just said I was crazy and left. (Gravitation and Yami no Matsuei are too much for Dad to take.)

 
Getting to Otakon at my house is damn near impossible. First, I have to find a ride which is really tough since my father works until forever and my mother would never even consider taking me to a convention. She thinks it's an addiction. But then again, being a drug counsler, she thinks everything's an addiction. Though sometimes I wish I could be. Then, I have to contend with her just to get money to spend. Anyway, all I wanted her to do was cash MY check for $300 and she acted as if it were her money. I had to practically bribe her just to get her to cash it and she still only brings me back $280. Well, I just took the rest out of her coin jar. (She keeps dollars in there.) Hah that'll show her who's crazy!

 
Yipee Otakon tomarrow! Yeah I can buy more manga so I can actually be interested in fanfiction again. I'm getting bored of my usual reading topics. Hoping to at least get my hands on some Yami no Matsuei.
